India opens cinemas at full capacity as COVID-19 cases decrease

Observing health protocols, India has opened movie theaters at full capacity as the number of COVID-19 cases has decreased.

India’s movie theaters have been working at half capacity since October 2020, due to the situation caused by coronavirus pandemic.

As the situation of the pandemic is improving, the movie theaters of the country are operating at full capacity from February 1, 2021.

India’s COVID-19 infected cases have decreased by 88 percent in comparison with the cases reported in September 2020.

India’s government issued precise instructions for the viewers and the staff of the movie theaters to prevent potential infections.

People should wear masks, use hand sanitizers, maintain social distance, etc.

A number of films that have been long waiting for premiering will be available to the viewers soon.

Indian ‘Radhe’ and ‘Karnan’ are among the films that are ready to go on the silver screens.
